Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
